Polymer water
At various locations worldwide, operators have started flooding with polymer water. The challenge for separation systems is now that according to Stokes Law the speed of separation decreases caused by a 4-10 times higher viscosity.
The CLSR is seen by the majors as one of the few available technologies capable to help achieve effluent qualities to allow reinjection.
With our CLSR20 as well as CLSR30 test skid we are capable to perform test runs on site.
The 1 mm ID internal PTFE tubes once brought in rotation take care of enlarging the oil droplets.
An oxidative, non chemical, treatment might be placed directly in front of the CLSR to take care of destabilizing the chemical emulsion (i.e. in case of ASP!). Below a picture of Coaless-X
